Painter, photographer, performer - Dutch artist Teun Hocks is not one to cut corners. Each of his striking images is meticulously created using a paintbrush and camera lens. No digital jiggery-pokery: Hocks sketches out his scenes before constructing and painting "stages" on which he photographs himself in a bizarre poses. Surreal, yes. Silly? Elaborately so.
