Tina Brown, the wife of Sir Harry Evans and one-time queen of buzz, is in town with a small staff of assistants and she's cooking something up.
Over at Hanover Square, the busy bees of Conde Nast suspect Brown is involved in launching a new glossy; at News Corp, there are rumours she's involved with the London evening freebie being readied for launch on September 18. It's also possible that British journalism's original media-queen export to the US (first to Vanity Fair, then the New Yorker) is in town to meet the deadline on her pending Princess Diana biography.
