Picasso free-for-all

One of the great things about art is that - unlike going to see film, theatre or opera - the commercial art system generously allows you to view it for free. Here's an outstanding show of Picasso's paintings, worth trillions and zillions (and intelligently curated by Emma Biggs and This is Civilisation presenter Matthew Collings), with no one charging you £12 at the door and no ludicrous 'blockbuster' crowds in the way. Painted late in Picasso's career, these are genuinely experimental works - to the extent that a couple do fall short of his usual high standard. But even this is fascinating, and - as the overall quality is staggering - the show is absolutely unmissable.
