A scathing new movie won’t worry Anna Wintour, says charles laurence

Anna Wintour, the famously frosty fashion Editrix, probably takes it as a compliment that Hollywood has based a whole big-budget movie on her reign of terror at American Vogue.
Those I know in the New York fashion world, say that Wintour's only complaint after seeing a preview of The Devil Wears Prada, was the suggestion that Runway magazine, standing in for Vogue, was less than serious journalism.
If she did feel like shedding a tear over lines like "She’s a sadist, and not in a nice way" describing the fictional editor, Miranda (played by Meryl Streep) Wintour would never show it. After all, she was way too cool to sue when her former
