One of the more glitzy events in the literary calendar came to Grosvenor House, Park Lane last night - the Galaxy British Books Awards 2008. Hitting the red carpet at the 'Nibbies', as they're affectionately known, were fiction money-spinners Khaled Hosseini and JK Rowling (awarded the gong for outstanding achievement) and buxom celeb-turned-author Katie Price (or Jordan, if you prefer).
