Nokia N82

Most bangs per buck

The Nokia N-Series of phones are smartphones packaged for the mass market. For the last two years the Nokia N73 has been the mainstay of the line: a powerful midmarket phone that can run an array of third-party applications. Now Nokia has released its successor, the Nokia N82, and has added a raft of new hardware features including GPS, a five-megapixel camera and broadband-speed Internet access (also known by the inpenetrable acronym HSDPA). The end result is a phone that can cope effortlessly with work, such as opening Office docs, but also has the power to play 3D games and take high-quality photos. If you like solid, all-in-one handsets this is one of the best.
