Floaty coutureFloaty and ethereal aren't qualities usually associated with bustling Oxford Street. But Selfridges' beautiful new windows are imparting an aura of calm to shopping central. Taking inspiration from the swathes of chiffon and satin that marched, or rather, swooned, down the Spring/Summer 2007 catwalks, the designers have bedecked their windows with soft fabric and showcased stunning frocks from top designers. In one display, they have recreated Burberry's mirror-themed catwalk. Tip: take a late-night stroll down Oxford Street - they look even more fabulous looming out of the dark.Selfridges, Oxford Street, designed by Erin Thompson, head of visual merchandise
