Paul Newman in one of his best-loved films, 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid', in which he co-starred with Robert Redford. Newman died of cancer at the age of 83, surrounded by family and friends at his Connecticut farmhouse on September 26. The Hole in the Wall Gang children's camps which he had supported since 1988 were named after the gang he led in the film
