The critically-acclaimed opera is based on a 400-year-old Chinese fable in which Monkey, a manifestation of the Hindu god Hanuman, attempts to bring holy scriptures back from India to China in a bid to redeem himself in the eyes of Buddha. The show is on at the O2 arena until December 5.
