Supply trucks loaded with food and military vehicles parked in Peshawar. Pakistani officials say they hope the supply service will be able to resume soon but there are few alternative routes. According to one report, without the Khyber pass, supplies might have to be shipped into Georgia, transported by rail to Azerbaijan, across the Caspian Sea by boat and then across Turkmenistan by road.
