Rooney became the Premier League's youngest scorer aged 16 when he netted against Arsenal in 2002, and he reached the 100 mark with a goal against the same club on Sunday. He has filled the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United this season and his 100th goal typified his style of play. He set up a United break and then surged into the Arsenal box to finish the move.
