Now that YouTube has gone HD, last year's pocket camcorders need to catch up. Enter the Vado HD, offering 720-pixel video in a package smaller than many mobile phones.
There are no menus to hold things up, precious few controls, and fuss-free uploading via the built-in USB cable. What's missing are niceties such as optical zoom, or the ability to add more storage
to the 8GB already on board. But image quality is surprisingly good (even in low light), making for a very practical (if pricey) HD companion.
