Gianni goes under the hammer

Twelve years after the murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace, the contents of his Lake Como villa are about to go on sale at Sotheby’s, Bond Street. A host of browsers and potential buyers flocked to the auction house (including Olivia Manca and her father Paolo, above) last night for the private view where the collection of art, furniture and accessories - worth an estimated £2m - was on display.
