A romantic comedy about a truly unlikely couple, The Proposal tells the story of high-powered editor Margaret (Sandra Bullock) who, in the face of deportation to her native Canada, claims that she is engaged to her put-upon assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds). He agrees to the charade, but with a few conditions of his own.
