Telstar is the stranger-than-fiction true story of legendary independent record producer Joe Meek. Meek famously enjoyed phenomenal early success with the Tornados' instrumental hit 'Telstar' in the early 60s - the biggest-selling record of its time and the first British single to top the US charts. Meek went on to become an iconic figure in the world of British pop, until depression, heartbreak and paranoia ultimately led to his dramatic downfall. To celebrate the film's release on the big screen on June 19, The First Post has teamed up with Aspiration Films and Universal Music Catalogue to give away five copies of the official film soundtrack, signed by the director Nick Moran.
