Two of the favourites for this year's Tour, Texan Lance Armstrong (right) and Spaniard Alberto Contador (centre), both belong to the Kazakh-backed team Astana. Armstrong, the cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France champion, has made a comeback this season to promote his charity.
