The inner life of North Korea is a closed book to most of the world. All the more entrancing, then, to see Mark Edward Harris's images of this secretive and fascinating country. His photographs document a startling place full of colour, haughty grandeur and choreographed pageantry. Military matters loom large, too, and the sight of children posing in front of armed soldiers (
right) as if they were meeting Mickey Mouse offers up a clue as to why North Korea increasingly attracts international attention.
