The Litvinenko file

The director of public prosecutions has recommended that a former KGB officer be charged over the death of Alexander Litvinenko. Sir Ken Macdonald said he had instructed CPS lawyers to seek the extradition of Andrei Lugovoi from Russia so he could be charged with the murder of Litvinenko (right), a former KGB spy who died from radiation poisoning in a London hospital last November. This is how the First Post covered the story. .
