Bollywood's annual academy awards opened last night in Yorkshire with a premiere of The Train, attended by a glittering array of Indian film stars and models, which included former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachan, left. Organisers reportedly had a choice between New York or Yorkshire as a location for the event, but settled on Northern England as it is the second-biggest market for Indian movies in the world
