Farmers’ marketIf you're a Londoner, you can't have failed to notice the opening of the fabled Whole Foods Market in Kensington this month. The US superstore has finally reached Europe, and on a truly American scale too. Yet the rather modest and charming concept behind the shop's first-ever window display is that of 'a farm landing in the middle of luxurious Kensington'. True to their word, we are given a veritable harvest festival of wholesome produce that suggests health and wellbeing in every over-priced morsel, all laid out in abundance with rustic nostalgia on hay carts, wheelbarrows and milk pails. There's nothing jaded city-dwellers like better than a touch of faux rural simplicity. Holly KyteConcept and design by Elemental
