After several months hiding from the paparazzi, Daria Zhukova, the 24-year-old student linked to Roman Abramovich, has broken her silence. She appears in an eight-page photo shoot in the August issue of Russian Vogue modelling clothes from her fashion line Kova & T, which she runs with Christina Tang, daughter of Hong Kong's billionaire mogul David, owner of the Shanghai Tang label.
Daria - Dasha for short - first hit the headlines last October when rumours of Abramovich's imminent divorce began circulating. The two of them have never confirmed their relationship and at one point Abramovich issued a statement saying that Dasha was a close family friend. Her father Alexander Zhukov is an oil magnate and a business associate of Abramovich.

months about Dasha's whereabouts. According to her interview with Russian Vogue, she has been hanging out in Paris, Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
In June she hosted a party at LA's Chateau Marmont and she has made occasional visits to
London - undetected by the paparazzi. One of her favourite hang-outs is the library at the V&A Museum, where she does her fashion research.
She refuses to be drawn on Abramovich. "What do you say when people ask you about your relationship? Nothing, except 'No comment.'" It seems safe to assume they are still together.
Instead Dasha is more eager to discuss her ambitions to take the fashion world by storm: Kova & T (an abbreviation of Zhukova and Tang) is stocked in 83 stores worldwide. Drew Barrymore and the Olsen twins are already fans of the label, |
