It's a bank holiday weekend, so pack your bucket, spade and dictionary of modern cultural terms, and head off to the seaside. Kent is home to some brilliantly idiosyncratic coastal life and Margate, Dungeness and Chatham have received creative attention from, respectively, Tracey Emin, Derek Jarman and Billy Childish. Now it's the turn of a little town called Greatstone which, with Folkestone, is the focus of a frenzied weekend of seaside art. Entitled O Dreamland, the event's 20 artists include Cathy Lomax, Stella Vine, Alex Michon, Jake Clark and Delaine Le Bas, alongside some other fab happenings: don't miss 'Blind Fortune Painting with Fish' by 'Dame Batglove', which is on the beach.
