"Look at Nazi Germany [in the 1930s] - the average German wasn't speaking out about it. I don't want to be in that situation years down the line."
All fervently deny that what they are saying should be offensive to victims' families. "We're trying to get the truth for everyone's sakes," says Toseef.
Most of these men admit that their mistrust of mainstream scientists, journalists and politicians is so deep that they probably couldn't be persuaded by any government-sponsored investigation to change their attitude.
