Josie Appleton

is a London-based writer who has contributed to the Spectator and the Times Literary Supplement. She is the convenor of the Manifesto Club, a civil liberties campaign group, and author of the report, Against the Booze Bans and the Hyper-Regulation of Public Space, published on August 25, 2008.
