The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Winner (3): Best makeup, Best visual effects, Best art direction

Brad Pitt stars in the title role as a man born in 1918 at the age of 86 who then ages backwards. Based on an equally weird 1921 short story by F Scott Fitzgerald, the film follows Button through his life as he travels the world, takes part in WW2 and falls in love with Daisy, played by Cate Blanchett, growing younger all the time. For some, David Fincher's film has been powerful, occasionally philosophical and strangely moving. For others, just curious.

Film Title: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Summary: F Scott Fitzgerald's brief tale of a man who ages in reverse provides an unlikely springboard for such a rich, vibrant, and lengthy film
