Drinking ban urged for under-15s

Parents who allow children under 15 to drink alcohol should be prosecuted, according to an Alcohol Concern report highlighting a large increase in the amount drunk by 11 to 13-year-olds. The charity also called for children to be taught about the dangers of binge drinking. The government is to publish a new alcohol strategy in the summer.
