THE FIRST POST - Barbecue Competition

 

The First Post is is giving one lucky reader the chance to win a Weber barbeque and a selection of Charlie Bigham BBQ Skewers.

The below terms and conditions cover this competition.

1. The Promoter operates a website at www.thefirstpost.co.uk. The Promoter's principal place of business is at 30 Cleveland Street, London, W1T 4JD.

2. No Purchase of any sort is necessary to enter the Promotion.

3. All entrants must reside in the EU only and we will accept only one entry per person, per household.

4. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Employees, families or agents of the Promoter and/or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the promotion.

5. Entrants may enter the Promotion by email only. The competition will close at 6pm on May 16, 2008. The Promoter will not be liable if the prize cannot be taken by the winner for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter.

6. Proof of age may be required before the Prize can be claimed by the winner. Before the prize is awarded, the winner may be required to sign a statement of eligibility and liability/ publicity release.

7. The Promoter and/or its associated companies will keep details of all entries made on a database. By entering the Promotion, entrants allow the Promoter and its associated companies to use and pass this information to other relevant third parties (such as prize fulfilment houses) to enable the processing of this Promotion and to enable fulfilment of the prize.

8. Where an entrant has given the requisite consent, the Promoter may share this information with other companies, in order that the entrant may be sent details of those companies' goods and services by email and /or SMS.

9. Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the Promoter, so far is permitted by the law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with the Promotion or any aspect of the Prize.

10. The Winner(s) will be selected at random from our database.

11. By entering the promotion, all entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withdraw, or change the dates of entry into the Promotion and/or the dates on which the Promotion will be promoted.

12. These terms and conditions are governed by and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
