In Town Last Night: Gehry’s Pavilion opens at Serpentine

The latest temporary structure in the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion Commission - designed by revered architect Frank Gehry - was unveiled in Hyde Park on Friday evening. Celebrations continued at the nearby Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge where partygoers included gallery director Julia Peyton-Jones (left), architect Zaha Hadid (designer of the first pavilion back in 2000) and recent ‘Best of the Booker’ winner Salman Rushdie (right).
