Jack White duets with Keys on Bond theme

A decision has finally been made about who will supply the signature music for the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace: the honour goes to soul singer Alicia Keys and Jack White (pictured) of the White Stripes. The announcement follows months of speculation about whether Amy Winehouse could pull herself together sufficiently to work with music producer du jour Mark Ronson. However, Winehouse's increasingly erratic behaviour, the result of her drug-fuelled lifestyle, has seen her yo-yo in and out of rehab and, this week, hospitalised after suffering from convulsions.

Another contender had been Duffy, the Welsh songstress, but she was discounted because she is still relatively unknown in America. The White/Keys collaboration will be called Another Way To Die and will be the first duet in 007 film history.
