Hollywood turns on ‘home-wrecker’ Sienna as Getty drops her
The English actress Sienna Miller is being branded a 'home-wrecker' in Hollywood and has been warned that she is doing her career no favours after her love life has hit the headlines again.
Barely three weeks ago, as The First Post reported, Miller (above), 26, was pictured topless on a boat off the Amalfi coast in a cosy embrace with her new boyfriend, Balthazar Getty (above), a scion of the oil family said to be the heir to a £2.5bn fortune, but unfortunately for all concerned, also a married man with four children. Somewhat rapidly, the affair appears to have gone downhill leaving Miller devastated, according to friends.
Getty, 33, a former drug addict and alcoholic, was embarrassed by publication of the photographs and immediately declared that his marriage to Rosetta was over but he has reportedly now returned to Los Angeles to plead with his wife to be allowed to return to her. Miller is said to be devastated and a producer friend of Getty tells the Mail on Sunday: "In his mind he has definitely dropped Sienna but he's in a very confused state at the moment.
"As soon as Balthy arrived back in LA... he started pleading with his wife to take him back. He told me he'd gone to their house but she wouldn't let him in. He stood outside crying."
For Miller, who had a long affair with Jude Law while he was still married to Sadie Frost, it is very bad news. A Hollywood public relations executive told the same paper: "Sienna is on very thin ice. She is perceived as nothing more than a home-wrecker. It would be different if her movies did big numbers at the box office but they don't. It's one thing to misbehave in private but when you cause a huge public scandal... that is something that not only destroys marriages but it can also destroy careers."
