Britney Spears (pictured), whose career had floundered in recent years, emerged triumphant at the MTV Music Awards show in Los Angeles last night, collecting three prizes for her track Piece of M .............Michael Spencer, billionaire treasurer of the Tory Party and one of the most powerful men in the City (he is Chief Executive of ICAP, the world’s largest money broker), has begun a relationship with divorcee Marchioness of Milford Haven. Spencer, 53, announced last week he was divorcing his wife Lorraine, 49, a move that is predicted to result in a record-breaking settlement ............ Almost 13 years after he was acquitted of the double murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman, O.J Simpson is to return to court today.
