The ex-boyfriend of Anne Hathaway (pictured), Raffaello Follieri, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges relating to a scam in which he allegedly posed as a Vatican official and cheated wealthy investors. The actress terminated her relationship with Follieri, 30, shortly before his arrest in June and there have rumours that she co-operated with the FBI ............ Robbers appear to have used Guy Ritchie's 40th birthday party, held at the Punch Bowl, the Mayfair pub he owns, as a decoy to pull of a £2m heist of computer equipment from the British Telecom exchange next door ............. Italian actress Sabina Guzzanti faces a five-year jail sentence after joking that the Pope Benedict should "go to Hell and be pursued by two big, gay and very active devils". The prosecution is being made under an article of the Italian penal code that protects the Pope from vilification ............. A new book about John Lennon puts forward the idea that he wanted to instigate a sexual flirtation with fellow band member Paul McCartney.
