In Brief: Busta Rhymes airport drama

American rapper Busta Rhymes (pictured) was held for 12 hours at Heathrow on Thursday by British immigration officials who at one point tried to put him on a plane to Amsterdam. Rhymes, who flew in to appear at the Albert Hall tonight, was detained because of his criminal record, having been convicted in March for assaulting his former driver and a fan who spat on his car. Given that the concert was for the youth volunteer charity RockCorps, an event supported by London mayor Boris Johnson, a High Court judge eventually ordered his immediate release, however there is still doubt whether he will be allowed to perfrom at the concert............. Kathy Fuld, wife of beleaguered Lehman Brothers CEO Dick Fuld, is attempting to raise money by auctioning off her family’s collection of expressionist art, including three paintings by Willem de Kooning. Fuld, a trustee of Moma, hopes to raise $20m at a sale at Christie’s in New York on November 12............. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has launched a self-help website through which she intends to pass on nuggets of wisdom to her fans. Called GOOP.com, it offers to help users "nourish the inner aspect" of themselves. To achieve this, she writes on the site: "Cook a meal for someone you love. Pause before reacting. Clean out your space. Read something beautiful. Treat yourself to something. Don't be lazy. Workout and stick with it. Make it great"………… The British rock band Led Zeppelin are to be reunited with their ex-band mate Robert Plant for their upcoming tour, according to reports. The gigs, planned for next summer, follow the huge success of their one-off reunion show at the O2 Arena in London last December………… Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe has won glowing reviews for his role in Peter Shaffer's play Equus, which opened in New York on Thursday night. In the New York Post, Clive Barnes writes: "His acting, beautifully understated and withdrawn, has just the right manner for this horribly mixed-up adolescent." And Joe Dziemianowicz, of the New York Daily News, said Radcliffe was "terrific and gives a passionate performance"……….. Sir Paul McCartney's decision to fork out £1.5m to employ a 5,000-strong army of security guards at his controversial Tel Aviv concert on Thursday paid off. The event went off without incident …….....Tracey Emin says she will take away a sculpture she donated to the people of Liverpool, a sparrow rendered in bronze, if it is stolen again. The 4in sparrow, which sits on a pole beside the Anglican Cathedral, has been made off with twice in the last three months........
