Sam Riley and Eva Green were on the red carpet on Thursday for the opening of Franklyn, a British futuristic thriller showing at the London Film
Festival. Also in town for the festival was the New York filmmaker Spike Lee (right) whose new film Miracle at St Anna tells the story of an all-black unit of the US Army which fought the Nazis during the Italian campaign............. Sky News presenter Kay Burley, who earlier this week collapsed at work apparently under stress, has issued a harassment claim against Barry George, the man who was recently acquitted of murdering BBC TV presenter Jill Dando in 1999. Burley had interviewed George following his acquittal.......... Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and Brad Pitt are planning to adopt a seventh child. Speaking to Matt Lauer, host of the US television show Today, Jolie said the wheels were already in motion, but added that she and Pitt intending waiting until their recently-born twins turn six months old in January………… Ricky Gervais has been approached about hosting this year's Oscars. However, the comic turned actor, who is about to appear in his first Hollywood lead role in the movie Ghost Town, is luke-warm about the idea………… David Duchovny, the Californication actor who recently received treatment for "sexual compulsion proclivity" at the Meadows clinic in Arizona, has separated from his wife of 11 years, actress Tea Leoni. It has been reported though not confirmed that their break-up came after Duchovny found text messages from fellow actor Billy Bob Thornton on his wife's cellphone………
