In Town: Hi-ho Haslam’s silver lining

Nicky Haslam, a man who refuses to grow old gracefully (he was already in his 60s when he dyed his hair and took on the appearance of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher), held a party in honour of his art-collector friend Janet de Botton on Thursday night. In his usual grand style, the 69-year-old socialite took over the stately home Parkstead House, Roehampton. Among the revellers were Princess Michael of Kent (centre, with India Hicks left, and Prince Michael of Kent, right), as well as A-list actor Keanu Reeves and unstoppable heiress Paris Hilton.
