Trailer for new Harry Potter film released on internet
When it was announced that the planned autumn of the release of the sixth film Harry Potter film was to be delayed until next summer, there were predictable howls of outrage directed at Warner Bros, the makers of the movies, from fans of the boy wizard.
However, as a sop to the weeping masses, a trailer for the movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has been released on the internet, apparently with Warners’ consent.
This is a smart move. As reported here, Alan Horn, the president of Warner Bros, found himself bombarded with death threats from fans of JK Rowling's wizard when he revealed the new release date. "I hope you choke on your own saliva," snarled one fan in an email. Another said: "I can't breathe anymore because you just ripped out my heart."
The film, which once again stars Daniel Radcliffe (pictured) and Emma Watson as Hermoine, also features Michael Gambon and Helena Bonham Carter.
