In brief: Winehouse’s Blake in jail
Singer Amy Winehouse's (pictured) husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been sent back to prison after failing a routine drugs test. Fielder-Civil was released from jail last month after serving just 12 months of his original 27-month sentence for inflicting grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. Because he has broken the conditions of his release, the 26-year-old now faces the prospect of being jailed until 2010 ............Chris Martin's band Coldplay have won seven nominations for next year's Grammy awards. The record of the year award is guaranteed to fall into British hands, with Leona Lewis, Adele, Robert Plant and M.I.A. joining Coldplay on the shortlist. However, US rapper Lil' Wayne leads the overall nominations with eight…………French actor Gerard Depardieu, a foodie who owns a restaurant in Paris, has rounded on TV chef Jamie Oliver. "TV chefs, like Jamie Oliver, are all about marketing," he says in an interview with Decanter magazine. "It's not money that gives you taste – it's in your head. When you have money, you can buy anything you want. But it's not what you buy that's important, its your palate" ............Meanwhile, Oliver has launched his own magazine today. Called Jamie, it contains 27 photos of the chef as well as a column written by his wife Jools. According to the Daily Telegraph, the magazine also features a "spectacularly uninformative interview with Jamie's Hollywood superstar mate" Brad Pitt, in which we learn that "BBQs aside, neither he nor his wife [Angelina Jolie] are much cop in the kitchen"............
