David Cameron’s ‘Boden’ Christmas card will appeal to Angelina Jolie
David Cameron's Christmas card may not do much to lift the nation's gloom, but given that it looks like nothing more than a Boden catalogue advert it will certainly please his fellow Old Etonian Johnny Boden, the founder of the eponymously-named mail order clothing business.
The photograph of the Tory leader and his family (pictured from left, Ivan, David, Arthur, Samantha and Nancy) was taken after a birthday party and follows a tradition of en famille pictures started by Tony Blair, although the option for black and white, as opposed to the former Labour PM's full colour affairs, can only be seen as a nod to harder, grittier times.
Meanwhile, Cameron and his family are not alone in their taste for Boden's fashions. The Daily Telegraph reveals that Angelina Jolie and her husband Brad Pitt have also been have kitting out their six-strong brood, including her two recently-born twins Knox and Vivienne, in its clothes.
Said a spokesman for the actress: "She initially fell in love with Mini Boden and then bought a few items for herself." Who knows, Boden could even become fashionable one day.
