Dunst’s designs on the fashion biz

Meet Kirsten Dunst, fashion designer. The star of Spiderman and Marie-Antoinette is to release her own 'capsule' fashion range, in collaboration with cashmere label Lutz + Patmos. The actress, who is known for her off-beat and quirky style, will launch the range at New York's New Museum in early February. Lutz + Patmos has previously collaborated with film stars including Liv Tyler and Julianne Moore and are also planning a collection with French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.

Dunst also made her debut as the new poster-girl for Miu Miu this week. The stunning campaign for the Italian fashion label, named after designer Miuccia Prada, was shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. The 'Alice in Wonderland' fantasy shoot had Dunst (pictured) modelling several whimsical outfits for the spring/summer 2008 ad campaign. "The clothes were very theatrical and it was so much fun to create the images," she told Vogue.
