Monkeys clean up at NME Awards

It seems that Arctic Monkeys can't pass an awards ceremony without picking up another host of glittering trophies.

After taking the big two at the Brits (best group and album for Favourite Worst Nightmare), the Sheffield four-piece went one better at last night's NME Awards at the O2 Arena in taking best act, video and track for Fluorescent Adolescent.

Frontman Alex Turner (above, left) turned up at the bash with his impossibly beautiful model girlfriend Alexa Chung.

The gig-cum-awards ceremony saw stand-out performances from Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers, Klaxons and Bloc Party, while at the aftershow party model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn (above) mingled with rockers and sports stars alike.
