In brief: Winehouse makes Rich List

"Troubled" singer Amy Winehouse's finances appear to be in good health - the 24-year-old (pictured) has made it onto the Sunday Times Rich List, which estimates her wealth to be worth around £10m. Other singers new to the list include Leona Lewis, who recently secured a US No 1 single and album, and Grammy-winner Corrine Bailey Rae; they still have some way to go to match fellow musician Sir Paul McCartney who remains in third spot, despite his wealth falling from £725m last year to £500m and a £24m divorce payout to Heather Mills... Jerome Kerviel, the French rogue trader accused of losing almost €5bn at Societe Generale, has returned to work, in a new career as an IT consultant at a Paris software company... Blade star Wesley Snipes has been sentenced to three years in prison for failing to file tax returns, despite being cleared of more serious tax fraud charges in February.... Sir Terry Wogan is vying with Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond in a bid to replace Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan programme slot at Channel 4...
