She may have friends in high places - but Sarah Palin could be sued
Sarah Palin has a “very bright” future in a leadership position in the Republican party according to a man who has learned a thing or two about the requirements of the job – John McCain. Speaking yesterday, McCain said that Palin did a great job of “energising” Republican voters and said that he was “very proud of her”. Did he pick her because she was a woman? "I knew that she would be an energising factor, because she energised me," McCain replied.
A high-profile Palin fan emerged yesterday when Coldplay frontman Chris Martin admitted being attracted to the Alaskan governor. “It is a moral dilemma when you fancy someone but you don’t agree with anything they say,” he moaned. “Do I want to kiss you or run away? I haven’t had that feeling since school.”
Back in chilly Alaska though, Palin could be in hot water. A Wasilla man is suing his governor for violating state laws during an interview Palin gave to a Fox Network show. The litigant claims Palin was using "state time and resources for partisan political purposes" in an effort to “repair her damaged political image on the national scene”.
