Palin Hits out at Ashley Judd

Thursday, February 5. Proving once again that she does not take kindly to criticism, Sarah Palin has slammed a campaign, fronted by actress Ashley Judd, that attacks her for encouraging the aerial killing of Alaskan wolves.

The Alaska Governor has described the 'Defenders of Wildlife' conservationist movement that produced the offending video as an "extreme fringe group" before accusing them of trying to unfairly extract money from American citizens, saying: "Shame on the Defenders of Wildlife for twisting the truth in an effort to raise funds from innocent and hard-pressed Americans struggling with these rough economic times."

Palin has also spoken out to clear up rumours that she supports Barack Obama's $890bn bill that passed through the House of Representatives without a single Republican vote. "I agree with the decision of Senator [Lisa] Murkowski and Congressman [Don] Young to vote NO on the package," Palin declared in a written statement yesterday.
