Spurs to field full team for cup
Harry Redknapp won't be risking a Tottenham's shot at cup glory by fielding a youth side in tonight's Carling Cup clash with Watford, opting instead to rotate some of his lesser-used first teamers. "The Spurs manager took five rookies to Holland for last week’s UEFA Cup tie against NEC Nijmegen and two - John Obika and Ryan Mason - came on as late substitutes. Redknapp said: ‘Arsenal have so many 19 and 20-year-olds who are fantastic, they can play them. How many more teams can afford to do that? None,'" according to the Daily Mail. "The Carling Cup holders will reach the semi-finals for the third successive year if they win but Redknapp said: 'League points are the most important thing to us with the position we are in. It has got to be that way.'"
