Chelsea offer Drogba £25m

Didier Drogba is the latest Chelsea star to decide not to leave the club. The disgruntled striker was set for the exit door, but will now stay - after Roman Abramovich offered him a £25m four-year deal, worth around £130,000 a week. New bossLuiz Felipe Scolari moved to retain the striker's services and the 30-year-old Ivorian will be handed an offer he can't refuse next week. If he signs a new deal Drogba will be able to finish his autobiography - he has been waiting to decide his future before penning the final chapter. (People: 03/08/08)
