Goldenbuns Beckham may stay in Milan

David Beckham's flirtation with AC Milan could be about to blossom into a fully fledged romance after Becks revealed that he could be persuaded to stay at the San Siro, while Milan vice-president, Adriano Galliani said that the Italians might be prepared to part with a fee for the player.

Quite what Beckham's current paymasters, LA Galaxy make of the European love-in remains to be seen.

It has been reported that Beckham has to decide where his future lies before the end of the transfer window as he will not be able to extend his loan deal. Milan have supposedly opened negotiations with Galaxy about a possible £4.5m fee.

Goldenballs Beckham has also earned a new nickname at the San Siro, where he is now known as 'Goldenbuns' on account of his "lucky bottom", which his teammates have taken to touching for luck.
