Jenas or Bentley set for Inter swap

2pm: Is there no end to Harry Redknapp's wheeler dealing? Liverpool have confirmed that Robbie Keane will be having a medical at Spurs this afternoon, although a fee had not been agreed, while the Spurs boss is also thrashing out a deal for Inter Milan's Ricardo Quaresma, that could see David Bentley or Jermaine Jenas heading to Italy for the rest of the season.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho has long been an admirer of Jenas, while David Bentley is another remnant of the Juande Ramos era, which Redknapp seems intent of consigning to the dustbin of history.

Mourinho has left 25-year-old Portugal winger Quaresma out of his updated Champions League squad and declared that he was "disappointed" with him, indicating that he has little future at the club, even though he only joined from Porto last summer.

Although disappointed with Quaresma, the Special One has been impressed with Jenas, and has described him as a player he "liked very much". But while Jenas fits the bill and has been out of favour at White Hart Lane, David Bentley is also in the frame for a swap deal.

Bentley is in a similar situation to the Portuguese, having failed to make an impact since joining his current club in the summer, and as they both play on the wing a straight swap would suit both clubs.
