Riera in, Finnan out at Anfield

Spanish side Espanyol have signed Liverpool full-back Steve Finnan on a two-year contract. He is the makeweight in the deal bringing £10m winger Albert Riera to Anfield. Finnan will be a replacement for defender Pablo Zabaleta who has joined Manchester City. In addition to Riera, who should solve Rafa Benitez's problems on the left wing, Liverpool have signed Brazilian striker Vitor Flora on a free transfer from Botafogo. The Anfield club have also completed the permanent signing of Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, 18, who was on-loan at Anfield last season. Meanwhile, Reds striker Andriy Voronin agreed a one-year loan deal with German side Hertha Berlin.
