When wealthy industrialist Tony Stark decides to use his skills in technology to fight against evil. Jon Favreau is best known as an actor, having appeared in Batman Forever (1995), Swingers (1996), Deep Impact, Very Bad Things (both 1998), Daredevil (2003) and The Break-Up (2006). He wrote the screenplay for Swingers before making his directorial debut with its sequel, Made (2001). He has gone on to make Elf (2003) and Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005).
