An elderly shipyard worker decides to open his own restaurant. Tunisian filmmaker Abdel Kechiche began his career as an actor. As a writer/director he has made Blame It on Voltaire (2000) and Games Of Love And Chance (2003). Couscous won the Best Film and Best Director prizes at the Cesar Awards, France, 2008. In the same year, Kechiche received an award for achievements in integration, together with director Fatih Akin.
